On motion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar, Hargett and Chambers
(3) Nays: (0) `.Phe Mayor approved the same and is numbered 2758.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"/An ordinance relating, to and apportioning and levying; special
assessments on certain lots and pieces of �rround in the City of
Salina, Kansas to pay the cost of excavating, grading, curbing,
guttering, park -curbing and having Claflin Avenue in the Gity of
Salina, Kansas from the west line of Santa Fe Avenue to the vest
line of highland Avenue in said City, and relating to and provid-
ing for the collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Chambers the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Iiargett, Dyar and
Chambers (3) Nays: (0) The ivayor approved the same and is
numbered 2759.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special
assessments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of
Salina, Kansas to pay the cost of excavating, grading, park -curbing
and J_ aving Claflin Avenue in the City of Salina. Kansas from the
east line of Santa Ve avenue to the west line of Fourth Street in
said City, and relating to and providing for the collection and
payment of such assessments."

' alnut street to the south line of Mulberry Street in said City,
and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of
such assessments."

and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar, Hargett and Chambers

The following resolution was introduced for second. reading:
' BE IT R � SOINED by the Board of Commissioners of the city
of Salina, Kansas that the excavating, grading and p<:ving of
Ash Street in the City of Salina, Yansas from the west line of
Oakdale venue to the west line of Penn Avenue in said City, be and
the same is hereby determined to be a necessary improvement, and
that said Ash Street in the City of Salina, Kansas be excavated,
graded and paved within the limits above defined.

Adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners, April
27th, 1923. TMeeting was called to order by 14ayor j`argett, the
roll was called. and Commissioners Hargett, Dyar and Chambers,
and City Attorney Buzick responded.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and 'Levying special
assessment on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of
Salina, Kansas, to pay the cost of excavating, Trading and paving
Eleventh Street in the City of Salina, Kansas from the north line
of Vialnut Street to the south line of Iron Avenue in said City,
and relating to and providing for the collection and payment of
such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Dyar the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar, Hargett and Chambers

to be a necessary improvement, and that -said Phillips Street'
in the City of Salina, Kansas be curbed, guttered, excavated,
graded and paved within the limits above defined.

and paved within the limits above defined.
