Special session of the Board of Commissioners, April
27th, 1923., for the purpose of hearing any complaints'that
may be made by prop(rty owners as to the appraisement placed
on certain lots'and pieces of ground on which to base the
cost of curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving:

Mayor Hargett presiding, the roll was called and Com-
missioners Hargett, Dyar and Chambers and City Attorney
Buziek responded.
The appraisers report for the curbing, guttering, exca-
vating, grading and paving of Beloit Avenue from Santa Fe
Avenue to h,4cPherson Branch Trac s was taken up and read as

and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does
hereby solemnly swear that he is an owner of real estate in
the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansa s and is disinterest-
ed in any of the property liable to special assessment for the
cost of curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving
Beloit Avenue in the City of Salina, Kansas from Santa Fe
venue to t e McPherson Branch Tracks in said City, as more
particularly described and provided for in Ordinance No. 2693
of the City of salina, Kansas; and that each of us will to
the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial
appraisement of all the lots and pieces of land abutting on
such respective street as above described without regard to
the improvements thereon, for the distance to be improved
as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners
in said Ordinance No. 2693 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
