APRIL 13th, 1923
Board of Commissioners met in special session, Friday,
April 13th, 1923 for the purpose of hearing any complainst that
may be made by property owners as to the valuation placed on
certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina, Kansas
on which to base the cost of curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving:
Third Street from Walnut Street to Mulberry Street;
Cedar ree from Baker Street to Phillips Street;
FourfH Street from South Street to Iron Avenue;
F mmStreet--Trom Ninth Street to College Avenue;
Ash Street from Penn Avenue to Ohio Street;
CTailin AvFnue from Santa Fe Avenue to Highland;
Claflin Avenue from Santa Fe 'venue to Fourth Street;
JewellAvenue from Santa Fe to Ninth Street;
Penn Avenue from Elm Street to Ash /street;
F evenEh=reet from Walnut to Iron Aveune.
Mayor Hargett presiding, the roll was called and Commis-
sioners Chambers, Dyar and hargett and City Attorney Buzick
responded.
The appraisers report for the excavating, grading and
paving of Third Street from Walnut Street to Mulberry Street
was taken up and read as follows:

College Avenue was taken up andr- ead as -follows:

On motion -of Commissioner Chambers the appraisers report
for the curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving of
Jewell Avenue from Santa Fe Avenue to Ninth Street was adopted as
amended. motion adopted.
The appraisers report for the curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving of Penn Avenue from Ash Street to Elm 6treet was
taken up and read as follows:
