MARCH 7th, 1923.
Adjourned meeting of tYe Board of Commissioners, March
7th, 1923. Meeting was called to order by mayor Dyar, the roll
was called and Commissioners Campbell, Dyar and Hargett and
City Attorney Buziek responded.
Bids for the paving of certain streets as advertised for
were received from:
Tibbetts & Pleasant, Tulsa, Oklahoma,
Ziegler & Dalton Construction Co., Junction City, Kansas,
Geiger & Rutherford Construction Co., Leavenworth, Kansas,
Fred F. �'berhardt , Salina, Kansas,
J. 0. Patterson, Kansas City, Missouri,
Springfield Oonstruction Company, Springfield, Missouri,
J. B. Watts Concordia, Kansas.
Kaw Paving 6ompany, Topeka, Kansas,
Jas. Stanton, Leavenworth, Kansas,
Cook & Ransom, Ottawa, Kansas,
M. R. Amerman, Wichita, Kansas,
Smith -Graham Construction Company, Augusta, Kansas,
J. H. Shears & Sons, Hutchinson, Kansas,
Des Moines Asphalt Paving Company, Des Moines, Iowa,
Hughes-McCandliss Construction Company, Topeka, Kansas.
Commissioner Campbell moved that the bids of T.T. R. Amerman,
Cook & Ransom, Fred F. Lberhardt and of J. H. Shears & Sons, be
retained by the Board of Commissioners for further consideration,
before acceptance or rejection thereof, and that the other re-
maining bidders be permitted to withdraw their certified checks
from the office of the City Clerk if they so desire. Motion
adopted.
Commissioner Campbell moved that the Board of Commissioners
adjourn until "larch 8th, 1923 at three o'clock P. M.
City Clerk.
