96-5019 Agr Service StudyCan."Alo Salina RESOLUTION NUMBER 96-5019 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS AND DAVID M. GRIFFITH AND ASSOCIATES FOR A COST ALLOCATION STUDY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION SERVICES. WHEREAS, the Department of Information Services (the "department") is a Department of the City of Salina that provides system management, user support, programming and training services to all the various departments of the City of Salina, Saline County, District Court, the Sheriff's Office and Salina -Saline County Health Department; WHEREAS, for financial and budgeting purposes, the department is an internal service fund that receives revenue from the City's enterprise funds and Saline County; and WHEREAS, the department has undergone numerous changes including significant increases in devices and users requiring support which has increased staffing and required resources to meet the support demands; SO NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the Cost Allocation Study is required to determine the true cost of such services in order to develop the actual charges to assess Saline County as well as the City of Salina enterprise funds. Section 2. That the cost of this study will not exceed $5,500 and sufficient funds exist in the current budget. Section 3. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of said City and the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and directed to attest said agreement.
