04-25-1922 MinutesJ COM!'ATISS ION. -RS PROCEEDINGS, ADJOURNED MEETING. COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. APRIL 25th, 1922. Adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners, April 25th, 1922. Meeting was called to order by P.layor Dyar, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell, Dyar and Hargett and City Attorney Buzick responded. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance regulating the construction of sidewalk in the City of Salir:a, Kansas and amending Section Three (3 of Ordi- nance No. 2407 of the City of Salina, Kansas and repealing such original section." On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell, Dyar and Hargett. (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 2491. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the construction of certain sewers in the City of Salina, Kansas, letting the contract therefor, and providing for the payment of the cost of the same." On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. 1 1 A petition signed by Salina Board of Education and four other citizens was presented, asking for the paving of Third Street from tiValnut Street to Mulberry Street. On motion of Commissioner Hargett same was received and ordered filed and that a resolution be prepared for the same. A petition signed by V1. B. Crowther and fourteen other citizens was presented, asking for the curbing and guttering of y Johnstown Avenue from Front Street to Oakdale Avenue. On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was received and ordered filed., and that a resolution be prepared for the same. Plans and specifications and estimate of cost for the installation of plumbing in Oakdale Park; and also for the con- struction of a pergola in Oakdale Park was received, and the City Clerk was instructed to receive bids on the above work up to and including May lst, 1922 at seven o'clock P. M. On motion of Commissioner Hargett, Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk. 1 1
