COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, ADJOURNED MEETING.
COMMS SIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
APRIL 20th, 1922.
Adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners, April
20th, 1922. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Dyar, the
roll was called and Commissioners Campbell, Dyar and Hargett
responded. City Attorney Buzick responded.
Sealed bids for the construction of certain sewers as
advertised for were presented by the City Clerk as follows:
D. G. Stack, Salina, Kansas;
C. H. Everett, Hutchinson, Kansas;
Amerman' & Snyder, Wichita, Kansas;
C. J. McCoy Construction Co. Emporia, Kansas;
Burt & Tripp, Hutchinson & Herington Kansas;
Smith-Csraham Construction Co. Augusta, Kansas;
Reed & Wheelock, Clay Center, Kansas,
also bid for the curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and
paving certain streets as advertised for, from:
Smith -Graham Construction Co. Augusta, Kansas,
Commissioner Hargett moved that the contract for the
construction of the sewers be awarded to Amerman & Snyder of
';lichita, Kansas, as per their bid, and that the certified
checks be returned to the unsuccessful bidders.
Commissioner Campbell moved that the contract for the
construction of the paving be awarded to the Smith -Graham
Construction Company of Vjichita, Kansas, for three-inch fiber
brick with an asphalt filler as per their bid.
On motion of Commissioner Hargett Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
