COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL ME�ETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
APRIL 10th, 1922.
Special session of the Board of Commissioners,
April 10th2
19225 for the purpose of considering and hearing any complaints
that may be made by property owners as to the valuation placed
on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina, Kansas
on which to base the cost of curbing, guttering, excavating and
paving:
Eleventh Street from the north line of State Street to the
south line of Ash StFeet in said City, and
for the excavating and paving of:

State Street from the west line of Ninth Street to the east
line of College Avenue in said City.
Mayor Dyar presiding, the roll was called and Commissioners
Campbell, Dyar and Hargett and City Attorney Buzick responded.
The appraisers report for the curbing, guttering, excavating
and paving of Eleventh Street from the north line of State Street
to the south line of Ash Street was taken up and read as follows:

rile, W. S. Frey, C. J. Peck and Vim. Muir, being duly and
severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby
solemnly swear that he is an owner of real estate in the "ity
of Salina, Saline County Kansas, and is disinterested in any of
the property liable to special assessment for the cost of curbing,
guttering, excavating, grading and paving of Eleventh Street from
the north line of State Street to the south line of Ash Street in
said City, as more particularly described and provided for in
Ordinance No. 2 341 of the City of Salina; and that each of us will
to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial
appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such
respective streets as above described, without regard to the
buildings or improvements thereon, the distance to be improved,
as set forth and designated by the Mayor and Commissioners in said
Ordinance No. 2341 of the City of Salina. So help us God.

On motion of Commissioner Hargett the appraisers report for
the curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving of Eleventh
Street from the north line of State Street to the south line o
Ash street was adopted as read, and on roll call the motion was
Iadopted by the following vote: Ayes: Campbell, Dyar and Hargett..

The appraisers report for the excavating ard. paving of State
Street from the wrest line of Ninth Street to the east line of Col-
i lege�Avenue in said City was taken up and read as follows:

of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement
of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such respective
streets as above described, without regsrd to the buildings or im-
provements thereon, the distance to be improved, as set forth and
designated by the Mayor and Commissioners in said Ordinance No.
2435 of the City of Salina, So help us God.
