N Board of Commissioners met in regular session, March 6thrn 1922. Meeting wa's called to order by Mayor Dyar, the roll- was called? and 'Commissioners Dvar and Hargett and City -attorney Buzick responded. Commissioner Campbell absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 27th, 1922, and the Adjourned.T'eetinF of March 3rd, 1922, were read and ap- proved -as read. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance relating to the issuing of licenses in,the city, of Salina, Kansas." On motion of Commissioner Hargett the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar and Hargett. (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. The Mayor'ap- proved the same and is numbered 2460. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance defining; a certain misdemeanor and.. repealing Sec- tion Fifteen (15) of Ordinance No. 635." On motion of Commissioner Hargett the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar and Hargett. (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. The Jayor ap- proved the same and is numbered 2461. An ordinance was introduced for second. readingentitled: "An ordinance prohibiting persons without authority turning on, unsealing or opening an electric, gas or water meter service, or tampering_ with any electric wire and {has pipe or water pipe, owned by an individual or corporation sup -.lying gas, electric current or water to the City of Salina or its inhabitants, and providing for punishment for same." On motion of Commissioner Hargett the ordinance was read and ad)pted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the follov:ing vote was had; Ayes: Hargett and Dy- ar. (2)Nays: (0) Commissioner Campbell absent. The Mlayor ap- proved the same and is numbered 2462. An ordinance was introduced. for second reading entitled: "An ordinance regulating the handling and sale of dairy products in the City rf Salina, Kansas, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof." On motion of Commissioner Hargett the ordinance was read and adopted b -,J sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar and Hargett.
