Adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Noverl-
ber 2nd, 1021. l:'eeting eras called to order by Mayor Dyar,
the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell, Dyar and ?'arget;.
and City attorney Buzick responded.
Commissioner 'Hargett moved that the !,'iayor be authorized
f to enter into a contract r,iitr? Chas. ;V. Shaver to prepare
plans and specifications for the Memorial_ Hall.
A request ir,as received from The Board of 'education
askin7 permission to use the lot ncrtn of tl-.e Hatrthorne School
for playground, same being the lot that the City recently
i leased for ball ground for the citizens in that vicinity.

Commissioner Hargett moved that the request be granted.
Charges that were preferred against certain members of
the t'olice Lepartment, filed. with the City :ian'�ger, October
