09-06-1921 Minutes91?PC G 1 1 1 11 1 Commissioners Proceedings. Commissioners Room, Salina, Kansas. September 6, 1921 Board of Commissioners met in regular ses.ion September 6th, 1921. Meeting was callee to order by Mayor Dyar, the roll was called and Commissioners Camp- bell, Dyar and Hargett responded. City Attorney Buzick absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 29th, 1921, were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: ,"An ordi- nance making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes." On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adop- tion the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell, Dyar and Hargett. (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same and is :numbered 2404. A communication was received from The Salina Street Railway Compnny enclosing a petition with refer- ence to parking street cars on Vialnut Street between College Avenue and the Missouri Pacific Railway Tracks. Commissioner Campbell moved that the matter be referred to the City Manager to confer with the street car officials and all property owners concerned in the matter. Mr. Veburg appeared before the Commissioners and asked for a special permit to construct a bath room to his residence on North Ninth Street north. of Elm Street, same being in the fire limits. Commissioner Hargett moved that the matter be re- ferred to the City Manager with power to act, and also suggested that a new ordinance be enacted revising the fire limits of the City. A representative of the Salvation Army appeared before the Commissioners and asked the City to furnish the Municipal Band for their meeting to be held in the First Methodist Church, September 14th, 1921. On motion, the matter was referred to the City Manager. A petition was received asking for the location of an arc light at the corner of 1�inth Street and State Street. Same was referred to the City Manager. On motion of Commissioner Hargett, Board of Com- missioners adjourned. City Clerk.
