07-18-1921 MinutesCommissioners Proceedings Commissioners Room -_ Salina, Kansas. July 18th, 1921 Board of Commissioners met in regular session, July 18th, 1921. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Dyar, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell, —_ Dyar and Hargett, and City Attorney Buzick responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 11th, 1921, were read and approved as read. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordi- nance making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes." On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adop- tion the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell, Dyar and Hargett. (3) Nays: (0) The ITayor approved the same and is numbered 2398. An ordinance wasintroduced for second reading and final adoptioh entitled: "An ordinance relating to the taking, accepting and approving of certain bonds in the City of Salina." On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adop- tion the roll was called and the following vote was had: Ayes' Campbell, Dyar and Hargett (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the same and is numbered 2399. R. A. Lovitt appeared before the City Commission- ers and asked for a reduction in Junk Dealers License. The matter was referred to the Board of Commissioners. The monthly reports of the City Clerk, City Treas- urer, Police Judge and Fire Chief were received and or- dered filed. On motion of Commissioner Hargett Board of Com- missioners adjourned.
