On motion of Councilman Dear the ordinance was read and adopted,by sections and on its final adoption the roll ras called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dyar, Givens, Spaeth, -- Marne, Campbell, ivaite, Earbee and Carver. A petition was presented asking for the opening of an alley in the center of the block between. Santa Fe -venue ar.d Highland ',venue from y ilson Street to Dond Street. Same was referred to the Stre-.et and alley Comrr<ittee. Councilman S aeth moved that the �'anager of The IL�alia�a Light, Po,.er Gas Company be notified to meet the Council and ascertain the reason of insufficient light service.
