Councilman 4'raite of the Sidewalk Committee reported that in the opinion of the Committee the City should not advertise for bids for the construction of sidewalk at this time. Councilman Fyar moved tr-:at the rec ommendat ions of the Committee be adopted. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance re- gulating oil storage tanks and prescri.birq, conditions under which they may be' erected and maintained in the City of Salina, Y,ar:sa s ." — Councilman Dyar moved that the ordinance be ref --reed back to the Committee for further investigation. Councilman Spaeth of the Sewer and -Drainage Committee reported favoreibly on the petition from ie Milk i'roducers Company, asking permission to connect their building with the public sewer, and moved that permission be granted to said Company if they construct the necessary manholes and permit the City to connect with said sewer.
