Adjourned meeting of the Gity Gouncil, hpril 9th,
1920. Mayor ilathews presiding, city nttorney G. ii,- Spencer
and the following named councilmen answered to roll call;
Stolper, Dyar, Spaeth, Nowell, RXberg, unite, Bradford and
Peters. Councilmen Harne ana 1 odd assent .
Councilman Spaeth moved that the action of the Council, ---
April 5th, 1920, in reference to the Board of Education occu-

Councilman Spaeth moved that the Mayor appoint a commit-
tee to confer with the Board of Education, and to report at
the next Regular Meeting of the Council.
Mayor 111athews appointed the Building Committee to act
as such G ommittee .
City Engineer, P• G• Wakenhut, stated that it would be
necessary to cut the paving on Phillip; Street to run the
water connection to the new School building on said street.
On motion, a special permit was granted.
City Engineer, P-• G• Vakenhut stated that the Union
Pacific railroad officials asked permission to place plank
crossings on their crossing on Ninth Street and Elm Street
temporarily.
Councilman Bradford moved that the City nttorney noti-
fy the Railroad company to pave crossings on all their street
crossings as provided by ordinance. Motion adopted.
Councilman atolper called the attention of the Council
to the practice of building contractors not taking out build-
ing permits until after the building has been under construc-
tion.

Councilman tuaite pioved that the Fire Chief be instruct-
ed to conform with the Juilding Ordinance.
On motion of Councilman reters, Council adjourned.
