The minutes of the 1iegular semi-monthly meeting of February - 16th, 1920 were read and approved as read . An ordinance was introduced entitled: it ri ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims ." Councilman L=arne of the street arid Alley Committee reported unfavorable on the %etition asking for the i idening of L'epublic -venue from -anta Fe revenue to righland I -venue . On motion of Counci lrr.an +`+cite, the report of the Committee was adopted. Fire Department made requisition for 1,000 feet of fire hose. Councilman 'Waite moved that the Fire Departmer_�t Committee in- vestiE,ate and receive prices for sa,.e if they deemed it advisable. I'lotion adopted. The matter of securing a location for a detention hospital was generally discussed by the Council and citizens present. Councilman reters moved that the Committee confer with the County Commissioners to see if arran events could not be rade, whereby the City and County could use the building jointly. yo - tion adopted.
