COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS, CANVASSING BOARD.
COUNCIL CHAMBER,
SALINA, KANSAS.
APRIL 6th, 1917.
BE IT REi4E&IBERED, That on this Friday evening, April 6th,
1917, the Mayor and City Council met as a Board of Canvassers,
(ex officio) as provided by law, to canvass the vote cast at the
City Election held in Salina, Kansas, April 3rd, 1917.
Mayor Putnam presiding, City Attorney W • B • Crowther and the
following named councilmen answered to roll call; Miller, Under-
wood, Wolff, Henry, Swedenburg, Mishler, Ostberg, Brown, Mathews
and Bateman.
The returns of the City Election were presented by the City
Clerk and opened by the Mayor in the presence of the Councilmen
assembled, duly canvassed and the result declared and the City
Clerk was directed by vote of the Board to spread upon the Journal
the result of the canvass which is done as follows:
