COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL SESSION
COUNCIL CHAMBER.,
SALINA, "NSAS.
DECEMBER 4th, 1916.
Special session of the Mayor and Council, December 4th, 1916,
for the purpose of hearing complaints from property owners as to
the valuation placed on certain lots and pieces of ground for the
guttering and paving of :
Santa Ze. Avenue f rom the south 1 ine of Walnut Street to the
north line of North Street:
And for the curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving:
Phil (or Fot_r nth j BIxua-t,from the south line of the
right of way of The Union Pacific Railroad Company to the south
line of the right of way of The Missouri Pacific Railway Company;
Twelfth Streeter from the north line of Bishop Street to the
south line of North Street;
B-ta Dja street, from the west line of Ninth Street to the
east line of Thirteenth Street.
Mayor Putnam presiding, City Attorney W. B. Crowther and
the following named councilmen answered to roll call; Miller,
Underwood, Wolff, Henry, Swedenburg, Mishler and Brown. Council-
men Ostberg, Mathews and Bateman absent.
Councilman Brown moved that action be deferred on all of the
above named appraisers reports until, Monday, December 11th, 1916,
at 8:30 o'clock P. M., and that the City Clerk give notice again in
the official City paper of such adjournment as provided by law.
Motion adopted.
On motion of Councilman Miller, Spee'ial Session adjourned.
