LAND IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE P ROVIS I O NS O F
K.S.A. 12-5 19 TO 12-52 6, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAI NED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Se ct ion 1. Fi ndings. The following findings support the annexation of the property described in
Section 2 by the City of Salina:
1. The subject property is the site of a proposed assisted living/memory care facility that
wishes to receive City utilities and services.
2. Annexation is being requested by the property owner in order to allow the property to
connect to existing City water and sewer lines and to receive City police and fire
Protection.
3. The subject property is located in the City's Urban Service Area and is contiguous to
the existing city lim its on the north, west and south.
Section 2 . Annexation . The following legally described tract, meeting one or more of the
clac;sifications of annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and
made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas:
That portion of Lot One in Block One of Lakeview Estates Addition, a Subdivision recorded as Plat
Book Al3 Page 9-11 in the Register of Deeds office, located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 31 ,
To\\'Ilship 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, County of Saline, State of Kansas ,
being descr ibed by as follows:
All bearings herein are based on a platted bearing ofN 89 °40'21" Eon the North line of Stone Lake
Addition, a subdivision recorded as Plat Book A15 Page 22 in the Register of Deeds Office.
Commencing at the point of beginning at the Northwest comer of said Stone Lake Addition; thence on
the east right-of-way line of Ohio Street, N 00°06'26" E 60.24 feet to a point on the south line of a
parcel of land described in a quit claim deed recorded as Book 344 Page 822 in the Register of Deeds

On October 18, 2021, the City of Salina, Kansas passed Ordinance No. 21-11079. The ordinance
annexes a 34 acre tract of land on the east side of South Ohio Street between Magnolia Road and
