Special session of the Mayor and Council, May 3rd, 1916, for the purpose of hearing and considering charges preferred against Aug. Olsson, Street Commissioner by C. A. Everhart. Mayor Put - nam presiding, City Attorney W • B • Crowther and the following named -- Councilmen answered to roll call; Miller, Underwood, Wolff, Henry, Swedenburg, Mishler, Ostberg, Brown and Mathews. Councilman Bate- man absent. Councilman Brown moved that the City Attorney act on behalf of the City. Defendant arraigned and a plea of not guilty entered by the defendant's attorney H. C. Tobey. The following named witnesses were called, sworn and testified: C . A. Everhart, Ed. H. Clark, Dave Davis, J. H. Tullis, Jim Main, W. W. Coburn and Aug. Olsson. After all witnesses were examined the Council proceeded to vote on the guilt or innocence of the accused. The roll was call- ed and the following vote was had; Not guilty: Miller, Underwood, Wolff, Henry, Swedenburg, Mishler, Ostberg, Brown and Mathews. (9) Guilty: (0) Councilman Bateman absent. on motion of Councilman Mathews Special Sess ion adjourned. City Clerk.
