nE iT REi,:EMBERED, that on this Friday Eventing, April 7th,
1916, the iviayor and City Council met as a Board of Canvassers, (ex
officio) , as provided by law, to canvass the vote cast at the City
Election, April 4th, 1916. Tvlayor Putnam presiding, City Attorney
W. B. Crowther and the following named councilmen answered to roll
call: Miller, Carney, Wolff, Swedenburg, Mishler, Hagler, 0stberg
and Mathews. Councilmen Underwood and Bateman absent.
The returns of the City Election were presented by the City
Clerk and opened by the Mayor in the presence of the councilmen as-
sembled, duly canvassed and the result declared, and the City Clerk
was directed by vote of the Board to spread upon the Journal the
result of the canvass, which is done as follows, to -wit:
