Special session of the Mayor and Council, November 29th, 1915, for the purpose of considering and hearing complaints of property owners as to the valuation placed on lots and pieces of ground liable to special assessment for the cost of improving certain streets and alleys in the city of Salina, Kansas. May- or Putnam presiding, City Attorney W. B. Crowther and the follow- ing named councilmen answered to roll call; Miller, Underwood, Carney, Wolff, Mishler and Hagler. Councilmen Swedenburg, Ostberg, Mathews and Bateman absent. Frey, being duly and severally sworn according to law, each for him- self, does hereby solemnly swear that he is an owner of real es- tate in the City of Salina, Saline county, Kansas, and is dis- interested in any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of paving, curbing., guttering and excavating Park Street, between the west line of Ninth Street and the right-of- way ight-of- way of the Missouri Pacific Railway Company, as more particular- ly described and provided for in Ordinance No. 1877 of the City of Salina, and that each of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such respective street above described, without regard to the buildings or improvements on said lots and pieces of ground, the distance to be improved, as set forth and designated by the Mayor and Council in said Ordin- ance No. 1877.
