COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS, ADJOURNED MEET ING .
Adjourned meeting of the City Council, November 18th, 1915.
Mayor Putnam presiding and the following named councilmen answered
to roll call; Underwood, Carney, Swedenburg, Mishler, Hagler and
Ostberg. Councilmen Miller, Wolff, Mathews and Bateman, and City --
Attorney 14. B. Crowther absent.
Claims and Expenditure Committee reported by ordinance entit-
led:

led: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of cer-
tain claims."
On motion of Councilman Carney the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Underwood, Carney, Sweden -
burg, Mishler, Hagler and Ostberg. (6) Nays: (0) Council-
men Miller, Wolff, Mathews and Bateman absent. The Mayor approv-
ed the same and is numbered 1907.
The matter of constructin a balustrade around the retaining
walls on both ends of the Iron Avenue was generally discussed, and
on motion of Councilman Hagler the matter was referred to the Street
and Alley Committee with power to act .
On motion of Councilman Ostberg, Council adjourned until
Monday evening, November 22nd, 1915, at 8 o'clock.
