JULY 6th, 1915. — Special m:ession of the Mayor and Council , for the purpose of c ons ide ra ing and hearing complaints of property owners as to the valu- ation placed on lots and pieces of ground liable to special assessment for the cost of paving, curbing, guttering and excavating Crawford Avenue, between Ninth Street and Santa Fe 'venue. Mayor Putnam pre- siding and the following maed councilmen answered to roll call: Miller, Underwood, Carney, Wolff, Swedenburg, Hagler, Ostberg, Mathews and Bateman. - The report of the appraisers was taken up and read as follows: STATE OF KANSAS ) COUNTY OF SALIiIE ) 6S. Peck, being duly and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby solemnly swear that he is an owner of real estate in the city of Salina, Saline county, Kansas, and is disinterested in any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of paving Crawford Avenue, between Plinth Street and Santa Fe Avenue, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance No. 1827, of the City of Salina; and that each of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots and piec- es of ground abutting on such respective street above described without regard to the buildings and improvements on said lots and pieces of ground, the distance to be improved, as set forth and desi-_-nated by the Mayor and Council in said Ordinance No. 1827.
