APRIL 5th, 1915. 117 Special session of the Mayor and Council for the purpose of considering and hearing complaints of property owners as to the val- uation placed on lots and pieces of ground liable to assessment for the paving, curbing, guttering and excavating of Tenth Street, from Iron Avenue to Ash Street; also on Highland Avenue from Prescott Av- enue to Republic Avenue. Mayor Niquette presiding and the follow- ing named councilmen answered to roll call: Miller, Underwood, Dodds, Carney, Swedenburg, Mishler, Hanly, Hagler and Mathews. The appraisers report on Tenth Street was taken up and read as follows: STATE OF KANSAS ) COUNTY OF SALINE) SS. C ITY OF Si, LINA ) We, R. V. Allison, W. S. Frey and Ralph Ander- son, being duly and severally sworn according to law, each for him- self, does hereby solemnly swear that ie is an owner of real estate in the city of Salina, Saline county, Kans. as, and is disinterested in any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of paving Tenth Street, between the north line of Iron avenue and the south line of Ash Street, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance N o . 1774 of the City of Sa 1 ina ; and that each of us will to the best judgement and ability make a true and impartial ap- praisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such street above described, without regard to the buildings and improve- ments on said lots and pieces of ground, the distance to be improved, as set forth and designated by the Mayor and Council in said Ordin- ance No. 1774.
