APRIL, 10, 1914.
BE IT R&AEMBERED, That on this Friday evening, April 10th, 1914,
the City Council met as a Board of Canvassers (ex Officio) as pro-
vided by law, to canvass the vote cast at the City Election held in
Salina, Kansas, April 7th, 1914.
Mayor Niquette presided, and the following named councilmen re-
sponded to roll call: Miller, Hansen, Dodds, Brick, Swedenburg, Han -
.1y, Stevenson, Studebaker and Benson. Councilman Peck absent.
The returns of the City Election were presented by the City Clerk
and opened by the Mayor in the presence of the councilmen assembled,
duly canvassed, and the result declared. The City Clerk was directed
by vote of the board to spread upon the Journal, the result of the can-
vass, which is done as f&llows, to -wit: -

The City Clerk made record as the result of the canvass that the
board finds and does declare the following named persons elected to
the offices to be filled:
L. C. Underwood, Councilman, FIRST WARD
J. W. Carney, Councilman, SEC:OJD WARD
John Mishler, Councilman, THIRD WARD
J. Hagler, Councilman, FOURTH WARD
Edd. Matthews, Councilman, FIFTH WARD.
On motion of Councilman Studebaker the report and findings of
the board were received and ordered spread upon the records.
On motion of Councilman Studebaker the Canvassing Board adjourned
