AUGUST 13th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, August
13th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell and
Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 6th, 1928,
were read and approved as read.
Bids for the construction of Main Sanitary hewer "P",
Lateral Sewers 143, 146, 148 and 150, and Southern Heights '�ew-
age Pumping Station, as advertised for, were received from:
C. T. Snyder,
L. W. Rexroad,
City Engineers Estimate for the above named work was pre-
sented and read.
Commissioner Dodds moved that all bids be rejected and that
certified checks be returned to bidders.
Commissioner Dodds moved that the City Clerk be instructed
to re -advertise for bids for the above named work, bids to be
received up to and including Monday, August 20th, 1928 at 4:00
P. M.
A petition was presented asking for the sanding of Lincoln
Avenue from Ninth Street to Tenth Street. Same was referred to
the Street Superintendent.
A petition was presented asking for the installation of a
street light at the intersection of Thirteenth Street and North
Street. Same was referred to the City Manager.
City Manager Ragle submitted tentative budget for the
year 1928.
City Engineer reported favorably on petition asking for
sanitary sewer on Custer Street, south of Crawford 'venue.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, the Board of Commis-
sioners adjourned.
