COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JULY 9th, 1928.
Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, July 9th,
1928. Meeting was called to order by Maor Helvering the roll
was called and Commissioners Helvering, ampbell and Dodds and
City Attorney Norris responded.
Meeting was held for the purpose of hearing any complaints
that might be made as to the appraisement placed on certain
lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina, on which to
base the cost of curbing and guttering the north side of Euclid
Avenue from Fifth Street to Ninth Street;
Por the excavating, grading and paving of North Street
from Twelfth Street to Whittredge Street; and
For the curbing, guttering and paving of North Street
from Ninth Street to Twelfth Street.
The appraisers repgrt for the curbing and guttering of
the north side of Euclid Avenue from Fifth Street to Ninth Street
was taken up and read asfollows:

We, John Frederick, E.D. Martin and Ralph A. Smith, being
duly and severally sworn according to law, each for himself,
does hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of
the property liable to special assessment for the cost of curb-
ing and guttering the north side of Euclid Avenue from the west
line of Fifth Street to the east line of Ninth Street in the
City of Salina, Kansas, as more particularly described and pro-
vided for in Ordinance Number 3555 of the City of Salina, and
that each of as will to the best of our judgment and ability
make a true and impartial appraisement of all the lots and pieces
of ground abutting on such respective street as above described,
without regard to the buildings or improvements thereon, for the dis-
tance to be improved as set forth and designated by the Board of
Commissioners insaid Ordinance No. 3555. So help us God.

Commissioner Dodds moved that the appraisers report for the
curbing and guttering of the north side of Euclid Avenue from
Fifth Street to Ninth Street be adopted as read. Motion carried.
The appraisers report for the curbing, guttering and pav-
ing of Worth Street from Ninth Street to Twelfth Street was tak-
en up and read as follows:
