Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 2ncbi
1928. Meeting was called to. order. by Acting Mayor Campbell, the
roll was called and Commissioners Campbell and Dodds and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Helvering absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of hearing any complaints
that may be made as to the appraisement placed on certain lots
and pieces of ground in the City of Salina on which to base the
cost of constructing a lateral sanitary sewer in Lateral Sewer
Districts numbered 141 and 142 in the City of Salina.
The appraisers report for

up and read as follows:

District Number 141 was taken
We, John Frederick, E. D. Martin and Ralph A. Smith,
being duly and severally sworn according to law, each for him-
self, does hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any
of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of
constructing lateral sanitary sewer in Lateral Sewer District
No. 141, in Center street between Fourth Street and the entrance
to Kenwood Park, in the City of Salina, Kansas as more particu-
larly described and provided for.in Ordinance umber 3536 of
the City of Saliba, Kansas; and that each of us will to the best
of our judgment and ability make a true and imla rtial appraise-
ment of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such re-
spective street as above described without regard to the buildings
or improvements thereon, for the distance to be improved as set
forth and designated by the. Board of Commissioners in said
Ordinance Number 3536. So help us God.

Commissioner Dodds moved that the appraisers report for
the construction of a lateral sanitary sewer in Lateral Sewer
District No. 141 be adopted as. read. Motion adopted.
The appraisers report for the construction of a lateral
sanitary sewer in Lateral Sewer District Number 142 was taken
up and read as follows:
