COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
APRIL 9th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, April
9th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell
and Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of tree Regular Meeting of April 2nd, 1923,
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance regulating the parking of vehicles on a certain
portion of Ash Street in the City of Salina."
Onmotion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called. and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering,
Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 3522.

On motion of Commissioner Dodds same were approved by
the Board of Commissioners.
Bids as advertised for, for concession privileges in
Oakdale Park during the season 1928, received as follows:
Vim. Dymond.
Commissioner Campbell moved that bid be rejected.
Mayor Helvering appointed Lawrence Alley as a member
of the Memorial Hall Board. of Trustees, and on motion of
Commissioner Campbell appointment was confirmed by the Board
of ommissioners.
