COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.

FEBRUARY 13th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, February
13th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor
Campbell, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell and
Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
Helvering absent.
The minutes of the Regular I ee ting of February 6th, 1928
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to the appropriation of certain pri-
vate property for the opening, widening and extending of
Eleventh Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll
was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell
and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent.
Acting Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3502.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entit led:
"A resolution relating to the curbing, guttering, grading and
paving of Lincoln Avenue from the west line of Santa Fe
Avenue to the east line of Ninth Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was
adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Caihpbell and Dodds
(2 ) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 433.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 75 of
Resolution Book Number 2.
Liability Policy and application for taxicab license
for the year 1928 was received from I. S. Pyle.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds license was granted.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A resolution relating to the curbing, guttering, grading and
Apaving of Ellsworth Avenue from the west line of ighland _
venue to the east 1 ne o inth Street.

On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to
the Board of Commissioners.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A resolution relating to the curbing, guttering, grading and
paving of Oakdale Avenue from the south line of Iron Avenue
to the north ine of Gypsum Avenue. It
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to trbs
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving of Grand Avenue from the west line of
Santa Fe Avenue to the west line of Twelfth Street, prcv iding
for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the
manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the excavating, grading and paving
of Washington Avenue -_from the west line of Eleventh Street
to the west line of Twelfth Street and providing for the cost
thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of
payment therefor.

On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the excavating, grading and paving
of the alley running north and south between, and parallel
with, Seventh Street and Eighth Street, from the north line
of Ash Street to the south line of Elm Street, providing
for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the
manner of payment therefor. It
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners,.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds meeting adjourned.
