COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JANUARY 30th, 1928.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, January
30th, 1928. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Campbell and
Dodds responded. City Attorney Norris absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 23rd,
1928 were read and approved as read.
Applications for taxicab licenses for the year 1928
were received from:
R. A. Mayo
Jas. McDade,
Earl R. Shaw,
Lewis F. Colvin
C•0. SAndberg.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same were granted
by the Board of Commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance vacating the alley in Block 4 in korrison Ad-
dition in Salina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the
roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Helvering, Campbell and Dodds (3) Nays: (0) The Mayor ap-
proved the same and is numbered 3500.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled:
"A resolution relating to the Durbing and guttering of Center
Street from the east line of ifth Street east to the
entrance of Kenwood Park."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the resolution was
adopted as read, and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering,
Campbell and Dodds (3 ) Nays: (0 ) The Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 432.
The above resolution is recorded infull on Page 74 of
Resolution Book Number 2.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, meeting adjourned.
