02-29-1932 Minutes1 1 475 COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING. Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, February 29, 1932. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was ' called and Commissioners Stevenson, Benfield, Morey and Spaeth and j City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Pafford absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 23, 1932, were read and approved as read. Trust Deed with a deposit of $75.00 was received from H. V. Hil- ton. Commissioner ",orey moved that same be accepted by the Board of Commissioners, and that the City Treasurer be instructed to place the deposit in the Gypsum hill Cemetery Endowment Fund as provided by Ordinance iso. 3530 of the City of Salina. Motion adopted. Combination Gas Fitters and Plumbers Bond received from Lyon Plumbing company, and on motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was ap- proved by the Board of Commissioners. A petition was presented asking for the paving of Jewell Avenue from Ninth Street to highland Circle. Same was ordered filed. Amended Plat of Hageman Park Addition was received and on mo- tion of Commissioner Spaeth approved by the Board of Commissioners. The names of F. h. Rehm and Carl o. Byers were presented, as members of the Board of Directors of the Gypsum Hill Cemetery for a term of three years from January lst, 1932, and on motion of Commis- sioner Benfield same were approved by the Board of Commissioners. Mayor Stevenson appointed W. F. Grosser, Sr., as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Salina Municipal Band for a term of three years from January lst, 1932, and on motion of Commissioner Morey same was confirmed by the Board of Commissioners. Mayor Stevenson appointed Chas. W. Shaver and L. B. z)tevenson as members of the Waterworks Advisory Commission for a term of three years from January lst, 1932, and on motion of Commissioner Spaeth the appointments were confirmed by the Board of Commissioners. Mayor Stevenson appointed Wo S. Heusner and Mrs. J. Q. Lynch as members of the Board of Directors of the Salina Public Library for a term of four years from February lst, 1932. On motion of Commissioner Morey appointments were confirmed by the Board of Commissioners. On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk
