I � ' Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, January 4, 1932. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth responded. City Attorney Norris absent. j The minutes of the Regular Meeting of Dedember 28, 1931, were read and approved as read. j An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4127. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance appropri- ating the sum of $1,010.69 from the Hillcrest Endowment Fund for the purchase of United States Government Bonds." On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4128. City Engineer submitted Estimate Number 1 to H. J. Taylor Construction Company for the construction of Storm Sewer No. 14, Job No. 61, under contract dated November 19, 1931, and on motion of Commissioner Morey same was approved by the Board of Commission- ers. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim." On motion of Commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4129. Gas Fitters Bond received from Leonard J. Ashton; also Com- bination Gas Fitters and Plumbers Bond received from the City Plumbing Company, and on motion of Commissioner Morey same were ap- proved by the Board of Commissioners. Taxicab policy received from H. D. McCoy, and on motion of Commissioner Pafford same was approved by the Board of Commission- ers. On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the Board of Commissioners adjourned. City Clerk.
