COMMISSIONERS ROOM,

NOVEMBER 90 1931.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November 9,
1931. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll
was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth
responded. Commissioner Benfield and City Attorney Norris absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 2, 1931 were
read and approved as read.
j An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance.providing for khd requiring the paving of certaion por-
tions of North Street in the City of Salina between the east line
of Santa Fe Avenue and the west line of Fifth Street occupied by
certain railroad companies.
On motion of Commissioner Morey same was referred to the Board
of Commissioners.

An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance vacating a portion of the north and south sides of
Antrim Avenue from the west line of Ninth Street to the west City
limits of the City of Salina."
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth same was referred to the
Board of commissioners.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for and relating to the construction, re-
construction, repair, maintenance, use and inspection of gas pipes
and piping for natural or artificial gas, and the fittings, devices,
applicances and connections appurtenant thereto, within the City
of Salina, Kansas, requiring a license and bond of persons engaged
in such work, and providing for the regulation thereof and providing
penalties for the violation of said ordinance, and repealing
Ordinances No. 3078 and 3642, and Section 7 of Ordinance No. 2993."
On motion of Commissioner Pafford same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
