Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, July 1, 1931.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called
and Commissioners Stevenson, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Benfield absent.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the. City of Salina to
pay the cost of curbing and guttering_ North Street from the west
line of Twelfth Street to the east line o r eenth Street in
the City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing for the
collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of commissioner Pafford the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford and
Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Benfield absent. Mayor ap-
proved the same and is numbered 4084.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina to
pay the cost of curbing and guttering Twelfth Street from the north
line of North Street to the south line of tincoMtreat in the
City of Salina, Kansas, and relating to and providing for the col-
lection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Morey, Pafford
and Spaeth (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Benfield absent. Mayor
approved the same and is numbered 4085•
On motion of Commissioner Morey the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
