Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June 29, 1931.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll was called
and Commissioners Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth
and City Attorney Norris responded.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on appraisers re-
ports for the curbing and guttering of: j
North Street from the west line of Twelfth Street to the
j east line of rteenth Street;

Twelfth Street from the north line of North Street to the
south line of riincoln Street.

The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of
Twelfth Street from the north line of North Street to the south
line of Lincoln Street was taken up and read as follows:

We, John Frederick, E. D. Martin and L. W. Carl, being duly
and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby
solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property
liable to special assessment for the cost of curbing and guttering
Twelfth Street from North Street to Lincoln Street, as more particu-
larly and provided for in Ordinance No. 4071 of the City of Salina,
Kansas; and that each of us will to the best of our judgment and
ability make a true and impartial appr aisement of all the lots and
pieces of ground abutting on such respective street as above men-
tioned, without regard to the buildings or improvements thereon,
for the distance improved., -as set forth and designated by the Board of
Commissioners in the ordinance above mentioned. So help us God.

Commissioner Pafford moved that the appraisers report for the
curbing and guttering of Twelfth Street from the north line of North
Street to the south -line of Lincoln Street be adopted as amended,
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote
was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth (5)
Nays: (0)
The appraisers report for the curbing and guttering of North
Street from the west line of Twelfth Street to the east line of
fi�rteenth Street was taken up and read as follows:
