COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMJIISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
JUNE 3, 1931.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, June 3, 1931.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Ste venson, the roll was called
and Conunissioner Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford and Spaeth and
City Attorney Norris responded.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the curbing and guttering of North Street
from the west line of Twelfth Street to the east line of Thirteenth
Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be
assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, P�Iorey,
Pafford and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 4070.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance providing for the curbing and guttering of Twelfth
Street from the north line of North Street to the south line of
Lincoln Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same
shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor."
On motion of Commissioner Morey the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, Morey,
Pafford and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 4071.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance providing for the paving of the intersection of Fairdale
Road and Overhill Road, and providing for the cost thereof how the
same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor.?,
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Benfield, Morey,
Pafford and Spaeth (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is
numbered 4072.
On motion of Commissioner Pafford the Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
