1931. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stevenson, the roll
was called and Commissioners Stevenson, Benfield, Morey, Pafford
and Spaeth and City Attorney Norris responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 4, 1931, were read
and approved as read.
Commissioner Pafford moved that the plans and specifications
of Chas. W. Shaver for bath pavilion in Oakdale Park be approved,
subject to the approval of the Public forks Board, and that the
City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids to be received up
to and including Wednesday, May 20, 1931 at 7:W P. M. Motion
adopted.
Bids for repairing roof on Memorial Hall received as
follows:
Henry Borst, J. H. Robert, C. V. Rivir.
Salina �oofing Company.
Commissioner Benfield moved that all bids be rejected, and
that City Clerk re -advertise for bids to be received up to and
including Wednesday, May 20, 1931 at 7:1'00 P. M. Motion adopted.
A petition was presented asking for the narrowing of Antrim
Street from Ninth Street to the western City limits. Same was
referred to the City Engineer.
Mayor Stevenson appointed Chas. H. Bren and F. S. Dyar as
members of the City Planning Commission for a term of three years
from May 1, 1931.
On motion of Commissioner Morey the appointments were con-
firmed by the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Spaeth the Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
