Contract and Maintenance Bond for the construction of Storm Sewers No. 21 and 23 received from R. C. Snyder, and on motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was approved by the Board of Commissioners An ordinance was introduced entitled.: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is niunber.ed 4041. City Engineer submitted Estimate No. 1 to R. C. Snyder for the construction of Storm Sewers No. 21 and 23, under contract dated March 2, 1931, and on motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was ap- proved by the Board of Comm,:LssionerS. An ordinance was introduced. entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and Moore (3) Nays (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4042. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3999 relating to signs, billboards and outdoor advertising etc., and repealing said original Section 3 of said ordinance." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Dodds and Moore (3) Nays: t0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4043. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the paving of the alley between Fifth Street and Fourth Street from the south side or Ash Street to a point 200 feet north of the north line of Iron Avenue, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of pay- ment therefor." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was ca.2ed and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and+oofe (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4044. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the curbing and guttering of the south side of Jewell Avenue from the viest line of Ninth Street to the east line of Tenth Street, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Dodds and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4045. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "Ail ordinance providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of Penn Avenue from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line oT Gypsum Avenue, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor." X372 On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read ! and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4046. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the paving of Overhill Road from the south line j of Crestview Drive to the east line of Greenwa7 Road, and providing for the cost thereofhow the same shall., be assessed and the manner of payment therefor. j On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was j called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered j 4047. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An i ordinance providing for the paving of Greenway Road from the south line of Crestview Drive to the north line of '-Iverhii-I Road, and providing for the cost thereof, how the same shall be assessed and the manner of payment therefor." I On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and 1koore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4048. An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled ; "An ordinance providing for the paving of Fairdale Road from the end of the existing paving at the soath line of Lot, Bock 4, Country Club Heights Addition to the north line of Overhill Road, and provid.- irg for the cost thereof and how the same shall ba assessed and the manner of payment therefor." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read gild adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4049. An ordinance vias introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construction of Storm Sewers No. 21 and 23 in the City of Salina, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issuance and sale of bonds." i On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was Callo.1 and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds, Stevenson and lyloore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 4050. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An { ordinance relatinS to the parking of vehicles on certain streets in the City of Salina." I i On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance appropriating certain money from the General Fund (Street -- Department) to the Airport Fund." f � � On motion of Corrm4.33ioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: „"An ordinance appropriating the sum of $9873.19 out of the Fi:2emen's Re- I lief Fund for the purchase of certain bonds heretofore issued by the City of Salina." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. 1 A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A resolution relating to the curbing and guttering of Twelfth Street from the north line of North Street to the south line of ncoln Street." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the resolution was adopted as read and on its final adoption the roll. was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson, Dodds and Moore (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered 513.
