11-24-1930 Minutes - SpecialCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING. COMMISSIONERS ROOM, SALINA, KANSAS. NOVEMBER 240 1938. Special meeting of the Bca rd of Commissioners, November 24, 1930. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson and City Attorney Norris responded. Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on appraisers reports for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Number 5, 144, 1450 149, 162, 163, and 164. The appraisers report for the construction of Lateral Sewer-_ Number 5 was taken up and read as follows: STATE OF KANSAS } ) SS. COUNTY OF SALINE ) We, John Frederick, Lewis Carl and E. D. Martin, being duly and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable to special assessment for the cost of constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewer No. 5, as more particularly described and provided for in Ordinance No. 3963 of the City of Salina, Kansas; and that each of us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and im- partial appraisement of all the lots and pieces of ground abutting on such respective street as above desctibed, without regard to the buildings or improvements thereon for the distance to be improved as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners in the ordinance above mentioned.
