COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR I'IIEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
NOVEMBER 10, 1930.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, November 10,
1930. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Dodds '.tl�e roll
was called and Commissioners Dodds and Stevenson and City Attorney
Norris responded. Commissioner Helvering absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 3, 1930, were
read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance ratlfyimg and '.confirming a contract for the building and
construction of certain lateral sanitary sewers in Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Districts No. 5, 144, 145, 149 and 162, and providing for
the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending
issuance and sale of bonds.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 3979.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the building and
construction of certain lateral sanitary sewers in Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Districts No. 163 and 164, and providing for the issuance of
temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending issuance and sale
of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 3980.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construction
of Storm Sewer No. 19 in the City of Salina, and providing for the
issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issu-
ance and sale of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds and Stevenson (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 3981.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled; "An
ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construction of
Storm Sewer No. 20 in the City of Salina, and providing for the
issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issu-
ance and sale of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and
the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds and Stevenson (2) Nays:
(0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 3982.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and regulating traffic on certain streets in
j the City of Salina, and providing a penalty for the violation of
this ordinance."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commissioners
adjourned.
