11-03-1930 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING. City Engineer submitted Estimate Number 5 to H. J. Taylor Construction Company for Storm Sewers Number 17 and 18, under con- tract dated April 7, 1930, and on motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was approved by the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim." j On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Stevenson and Dodds (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Dodds, the roll I was called and Commissioner Dodds and Stevenson and City Attorney i Norris responded. Commissioner Helvering absent. On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the building and construction of certain lateral sanitary sewers in Lateral Sani- tary Sewer Districts No. 163 and 164, and providing for the issuance of Temporary Notes to pay the cost thereof pending issuance and sale of bonds." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled' "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construction of'Storm Sewer No. 19 in the City of Salina, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issuance and sale of bonds." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a contract for the construc- tion of Storm Sewer No. 20 in the City of Salina, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issuance and sale of bonds." On motion of Commissioner Stevenson same was referred to the Board of Commissioners. On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commission- ers adjourned. . e .
