COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
OCTOBER 20, 1930.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, October
200 1930. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the
roll was called and Commissioners Helvering and Dodds and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Stevenson absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 13, 1930,
and Regular Meeting of October 15, 1930, were read and approved
as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Stevenson absent. Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 3973.
City Engineer filed plans and specifications and estimate
of cost for the construction of Storm Sewer No. 20, as provided
for in Ordinance Number 3972 of the City of Salina., and on
motion of Commissioner Dodds same were adopted by the Board of
Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the City Clerk was instruct-
ed to advertise for bids for the construction of Storm Sewer
Number 20, bids to be received up to and including Monday,
October 27, 1930 at 4:00 P. M. Motion adopted.
City Engineer filed plans and specifications End estimate
of cost for the construction of Lateral Sewers Number 163 and
164, as provided for in Ordinance Number 3971 of the City of
Salina, and on motion of Commissioner Dodds same were adopted
by the Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the City Clerk was instruct-
ed to advertise for bids for the construction of Latereal Sewers
Number 163 and 164, bids to be received up to and including Mon-
day, October 27, 1930, at 4:00 P. M. Motion adopted.

adjourned.
