COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIOITERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
SEPTEMBER 29, 1930.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, September
292 1930. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Dodds, the
roll was called and Commissioners Dodds and Stevenson responded.
Commissioner Helvering and City Attorney Norris absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 22, 1930, and
Special Meeting of September 22, 1930, were read and approved as
read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An
ordinance relating to and apportioning and levying special assess-
ments on certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina,
Kansas, to pay the cost of constructing Lateral Sanitary Sewers in
Lateral Sewer Districts numbered 147 and 160, and relating to and
providing for the collection and payment of such assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Dodds and Stevenson (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Mayor approved the
same and is numbered 3965.
A request was received from the Breon-Armold '4'otor Company,
asking that Deluxe Cab Company be permitted to stand two cars on
Ash Street near their place of business. Same was referred to the
City Attorney.
Taxicab application and liability policy was received from
DeLuxe Cab Company. Same was approved by the Board of Commission-
ers.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
