COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, SPECIAL MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS,
SEPTEMBER 22, 1930.
Special meeting of the Board of Commissioners, September 22,
1930. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the roll was
I called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson and City
Attorney Norris responded.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting Sewers
appraisers
reports for the construction of Lateral Sanitary ewers Number 147
and Number 160.
The appraisers report for the construction of Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Number 147 was taken up and read as follows:

j We,'John Frederick, E. D. Martin and L. W. Carl, being duly
and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby
solemnly swear that he is disinterested in any of the property liable
to special assessment for the cost of constructing Lateral Sanitary
Sewer No. 147, as more particularly described and provided for in
Ordinance Number 3913 of the City of Salina, Kansas; and that each of
us will to the best of our judgment and ability make a true and
j impartial appraisement of all tae lots and pieces of ground abutting
on such respective street as above described, without regard to the
i buildings or improvements thereon for the distance to be improved
as set forth and designated by the Board of Commissioners in the
ordinance above mentioned. So help us God.

Commissioner Stevenson moved that the appraisers report
for the construction of Latdral Sanitary Sewer No. 147 be adopted
as amended. Motion carried.
The appraisers report for the construction of Lateral Sanitary
Stswer Number 160 was taken up and read as follows:

and severally sworn according to law, each for himself, does hereby

or in Ordinance hro.33 00 of the City of Salina, Kansas; and that

the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 160 be adopted
as amended. Motion carried.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commissioners
