COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.

SEPTEMBER 8, 1930.
regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, September
8th, 1930. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering, the
roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, Dodds and Stevenson
and City Attorney Norris responded.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 2, 19300
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
j adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering, Dodds and
Stevenson (3) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the same and is numbered
3957.
A petition was presented asking for the extension of water
mains on Seventh Street from Lincoln Avenue to Grand Avenue, and
on motion same was referred to the Waterworks Advisory Board.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance repealing Ordinance Number 3956 of the City of
Salina."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the
Board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Stevenson the Board of Commission-
ers adjourned.
