COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
OCTOBER 17th, 1927.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, October
17th, 1927. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Campbell,
the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell and Dodds and City
Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Helvering absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 10th, 1927
were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell and Dodds (2)
Nays(0) Commissioner Helvering absent. The Acting-'Iayor approved
the same and is numbered 3477.
An ordinance wars introduced entitled: "An ordinance making
appropriations for miscellaneous purposes."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the ordinance was read and
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell and Dodds (2)
Nays: (0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 3478.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled:
"A resolution relating to the curbing, guttering, grading and
paving of Grand Avenue from the west line of Santa Fe Avenue to
the west line of lVielfth Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the
following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell and Dodds (2) Nays: (0)
Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Pvlsyor approved the same and
is numbered 427.
The above resolution is recorded in full. on Page of
Resolution Book Number 2.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled*
"A resolution relating to the grading and paving of Washington
Avenue from the west line of Eleventh Street to the west line
of Twelfth Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the fol-
lowing vote was had; Ayes: Campbell and Dodds (2) Nays: (0)
Commissioner 'Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 428.

A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled:
"A resolution relating to the curbing, guttering, grading and
paving of Ninth Street from the north line of Inez Street to the
south line of Euclid -Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds the resolution was adopted
as read and on its final adoption the roll was called and the
following vote was had; Ayes: Campbell and Dodds (2) Nays:
(0) Commissioner Helvering absent. Acting Mayor approved the same
and is numbered 429.

A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A resolution relating to the grading and paving of alley between
Seventh and Eighth Streets, in the City of Salina, from the north
line of Ash Street to the south line of Elm Street."
On motion of Commissioner Dodds same was referred to the
board of Commissioners.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds meeting adjourned.
