COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
SEPTEMBER 19th, 1927,
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners, Jeptember
19th, 1927. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Helvering,
the roll was called and Commissioners Helvering, and Campbell
and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner Dodds absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 12th,
1927 were read and approved as read.
An ordinance was introduced entitled: "An ordinance
making appropriations for miscellaneous purposes.`
Onmotion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and
Campbell (2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Dodds absent. The
Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3462.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled:
"An ordinance confirming and ratifying sale of certain real
estate by the City of Salina and authorizing the execution and
ti
delivery of a warranty deed therefor.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was
called and the followin vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and
Campbell (2) Nays: (01 Commissioner Dodds absent. The
Mayor approved the same and is numbered 3463.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading entitled:
"An ordinance amending Sections 23 and 27 of Ordinance Number
2980 relating to and regulating the business of plumbing, drain-
age and ventilation of buildings, being Sections 5-423 and 5-427
of the Revised Ordinances of Salina 19253, and repealing said
original sections."
On motion of Commissioner Campbell same was referred
to the Board of Commissioners.
A resolution was introduced entitled: "A resolution
approving certain depository bonds securing bank deposits of
the City of Salina.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell the resolution was
adapted As read'_and on its final adoption the roll was called
and the following vote was had; Ayes: Helvering and Campbell
(2) Nays: (0) Commissioner Dodds absent. The Mayor approved
the same and is numbered 425.
The above resolution is recorded in full on Page 67 of
Resolution Book Number 2.
On motion of Commissioner Campbell, meeting adjourned.
