COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING.
COMMISSIONERS ROOM,
SALINA, KANSAS.
AUGUST 29th, 1927.
Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners August
29th, 1927. Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Camp-
bell, the roll was called and Commissioners Campbell and
Dodds and City Attorney Norris responded. Commissioner
Helvering absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 22nd, 1927
were read and approved as read.
Application for Pool Hall License for the last half
of 1927 was received from Clayton Pool Hall.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds license was granted
upon approval of bond.
A petition was presented asking for the construction
of a storm sewer on Santa Fe Avenue, south of Prescott Aven-
ue. On motion, action reserved.
A resolution was introduced for first reading entitled:
"A Resolution relating to a sewer across the Right--of-way of
the Union Pacific Railroad Company in the alley between Minne-
apolis Avenue and Ellsworth Avenue."
On motion, same was referred to the Board of Commission-
ers.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds, Board of Commissioner
recessed until 8:00 P. M.
Meeting re -convened at 8:00 P. M.
Present, same as before.
Motion was made that petition asking for storm sewer —
on Santa Fe Avenue, south of Prescott Avenue be referred to
the City Engineer for recommendations and report.
On motion of Commissioner Dodds, meeting adjourned until
September 1st, 1927 at 5:00 P. M.
